The sea demands swift decisions; minutes, even seconds, can determine the fate of those aboard. On the south coast of Devon, the crews of Salcombe lifeboat station respond to two critical emergencies: a mayday call concerning a fisherman, trapped by his own gear and dragged to the ocean floor, and a fierce fire raging on a vessel fifteen miles out in the Channel. Meanwhile, over two hundred miles away, off Anglesey, the crew of Moelfre station, en route to rescue a father and his thirteen-year-old son reported missing, discover a tale of resilience and courage.
