Along Ireland's southeastern shore, the crews of the RNLI stations at Dunmore East, Kilmore Quay, and Rosslare are engaged in a desperate struggle to save a cargo vessel. The ship has lost all power and is drifting perilously close to the rocks. Meanwhile, in Hoylake, on the Wirral, a large-scale, multi-agency rescue operation is underway to free a mother and daughter trapped in the mud. And sixty-five miles to the west, the crew in the coastal village of Porthdinllaen respond to a mayday call from a yacht in the Irish Sea, requesting immediate medical evacuation.
