At Llandudno, Wales's premier seaside destination, a father and son found themselves capsized from their kayak on their maiden voyage. In Wick, a historic port in northeastern Scotland, a photographer was stranded on isolated rocks as darkness approached. And further along the coast in Fraserburgh, the crew deployed their inflatable Y boat to rescue a fisherman whose vessel had run aground on a reef receding with the tide.
