The MasterChef semi-finals proceed with a remarkable challenge: the eight remaining contestants journey to Western Europe's largest naval base for a unique mission. They will prepare and serve lunch to the crew of the Royal Navy aboard the HMS Northumberland, a veteran anti-submarine frigate. The semi-finalists face the daunting task of managing fully equipped kitchens within two specially erected catering tents. Divided into two teams of four, each must conceive and execute two main courses and a dessert to nourish 110 members of the ship's company.
