At the end of four weeks of intense competition, only fourteen cooks remain. Now, they gather for the first time to compete against one another in two separate shows. The amateur chefs are divided into two teams—red and blue—each comprising seven members. Each team faces a demanding cook-off, the challenge dictated by a brief from John and Gregg. Their task is to craft a single dish inspired by a cherished family recipe or a food memory from their youth.
