Nathan’s thoughts drifted to Maxie as Dante arrived, seeking Anna but finding her occupied. He offered his assistance, and Dante spoke of Luke. Before departing, Dante urged Nathan not to abandon hope with Maxie. Maxie then appeared, confiding in Lulu about Levi. Lulu offered counsel after Maxie revealed she had declined a date with Nathan. Nathan waited at the Metro Court, anticipating Maxie’s arrival. Just as he was about to concede defeat, she finally arrived.
Meanwhile, Sam and Patrick flew to Amsterdam, but Sam felt preoccupied by Danny and the unidentified man. She was also troubled by her mother's well-being. Patrick wondered if Alexis had filed his divorce papers, then assured Sam he wouldn’t attempt to pursue a romantic interest. Elizabeth attended to the unidentified man, while Monica examined him as well. The man opened his eyes just as Elizabeth prepared to leave.
Nina discovered Franco observing Carly and Sonny with his phone. Sonny hoped Carly would end her relationship with Franco and choose him instead, but she refused. Nina confiscated Franco’s phone, urging him to cease his surveillance of Carly. Carly blamed Sonny for Michael's near-fatal injury, and tensions between them flared.
Franco retrieved his phone from Nina, acknowledging her correctness and offering to remove the camera application. As he activated it, they witnessed Sonny and Carly, partially undressed, discussing the preceding events.
