The discovery of a couple’s bodies in their apartment drew Detectives Briscoe and Green into a labyrinth of drugs and illicit wealth. Their investigation ultimately led them to Caryn Wyman, the wife of a U.S. Army Major deeply involved in the nation's anti-drug operations in Colombia. Though compelling evidence implicated Caryn in the drug trade, she hesitated to assist the police, gripped by fear. It was only through the persuasive efforts of A.D.A. McCoy that Caryn and her husband understood they had no alternative but to confront the danger and risk everything to unmask the killer.
