In the vibrant heart of New Orleans' French Quarter, seven teams arrive, each harboring aspirations of launching their own food truck ventures. There, they encounter host Tyler Florence, who sets them on a culinary path. Their initial trial, dubbed "Dough for Dough," tasks them with crafting a unique beignet and offering it for sale within the bustling French Market. Any earnings they accumulate will bolster their starting capital. The teams then venture out to sell their creations, quickly discovering the demanding reality of operating a food truck. The second challenge calls upon them to impress New Orleans celebrity chef Susan with a dish inspired by the city's iconic Hurricane cocktail. Ultimately, one team is eliminated, leaving six to advance toward the grand prize of $50,000.
