Описание:
The film depicts life in an isolated Russian village, accessible only by boat across a lake, with a postman serving as its sole link to the outside world. This insular community maintains a traditional way of life, untouched by modern technology despite a nearby spaceport, lacking government, social services, or employment. When the postman’s girlfriend leaves for the city, and his boat engine is stolen, disrupting his routine, he decides to follow her. He returns to the village shortly after, for reasons unknown. Based on real people, the film features villagers playing themselves, and the protagonist’s search took over a year to complete.
