Dafne, a dachshund, mourns the loss of her beloved owner and remains unconvinced by the efforts of the spirited papillon cross, Woody, to win her affection. Meanwhile, Grady, a lurcher with an insatiable appetite for muddy adventures, is perpetually seeking his next excitement; however, the Woodgreen staff believe that the adventurous Denise might be the ideal companion for him.
