Ava opened the door to find her mother, introducing Delia to Sonny. Delia announced her intention to move in, to care for her daughter. Michael, however, refused to speak with Franco, but Carly arrived just as he was about to reveal the truth to him, intervening to stop him. A phone call drew Michael away. Franco explained to Carly that his only desire was to liberate both her and Michael from Sonny's influence, a statement that ignited a heated argument. Carly demanded he safeguard her secrets, and the disagreement ended with them embracing.
Meanwhile, Kiki and Morgan commenced work on the brownstone. Levi remained steadfast in his opposition to the project, and he and Maxie organized a protest. When Michael arrived, Levi declared him responsible for their efforts. Michael threatened legal action, but Maxie remained resolute in her support of Levi. He then resolved to contact the police.
Elsewhere, Sam informed Patrick that the vehicle belonged to Silas. Nina, in turn, paid the hospital therapist to assist her in misleading Silas. Rafe requested a loan from Silas. Just as they were speaking, Patrick and Sam appeared, informing Silas that the evidence they had uncovered pointed directly at him.
