In a realm teetering on the brink of ruin, where the disappearance of the Four Perils has cast a long shadow, immortals and humans alike struggle for survival. Kashi Ichiyo journeys with his attendant, the servant god Tenko, on a quest to liberate his foster father, Hakugo, who was imprisoned in their stead. Though his dance is flawless, his singing is infamous for its discordance. It is during this pursuit that Ichiyo discovers Gyuki, a fellow servant god raised by a friend, is subjected to cruel treatment at the hands of his master, Bui.
