In a Duisburg scrapyard, a brutal act unfolded: two Polish truck drivers were murdered by an Arab hit squad. Simultaneously, Leczek, a Pole in exile and the scrapyard’s owner and pimp, was targeted for execution, though the attempt was thwarted. Inspector Schimanski and his colleague Thanner, both witnesses to the violent scene, were left reeling in disbelief.
