Last autumn, Joe Swift journeyed to Swansea to meet Sue Kent and learn about her ambitious plans for growing vegetables on her allotment. He visits a passionate gardener at Clumber Park in Nottinghamshire, who curates a national collection of over one hundred rhubarb varieties, and in Leeds, explores the transformation of a shady backyard into a thriving space using containers and resourceful design.
