Zov krovi (1940)

Set in pre-Civil War Kansas, the film follows Bob Seton, a Texan who is drawn to the peaceful town of Lawrence and its people, particularly Mary McCloud, the banker's daughter. But a growing division over slavery casts a shadow over the territory.As political tensions rise, Bob competes with William Cantrell for the marshal position. While appearing respectable, Cantrell secretly harbors dangerous ambitions and is willing to do anything to gain power. After losing the election, he forms a band of raiders to smuggle weapons and terrorize settlers. The group eventually adopts Confederate uniforms, escalating their violence.When tensions explode, Bob Seton and the people of Lawrence must confront Cantrell's raiders in a final battle to protect their town and their way of life.
