Along the Mississippi River, Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn have exciting adventures that mix make-believe with real life. These playful boys enjoy pretending to be pirates and exploring the river like it's a wild sea. Their imaginations lead them to stage their own funeral, imagining they're already dead. But their fun turns serious when they accidentally see a violent murder, forcing them to face the harshness of the world. Throughout their experiences, Tom and Huck become closer as they deal with growing up and the ups and downs of life on the unpredictable Mississippi River.
