In a kingdom where beauty is highly valued, Princess Chiu Yeung attracts attention with her looks but resists all proposals due to her strong will. The financially troubled Kam family agrees to marry their son, Dor Luk, to the princess to save their business, creating an unexpected partnership. As they begin their life together, Princess Chiu Yeung and Dor Luk's strong personalities cause frequent conflicts that challenge their relationship. With her father's concubine pushing for a political marriage with the Tibetan king, the princess must consider the difficulties of her new life against the security this alliance could provide. Ultimately, Princess Chiu Yeung’s persistence and unwillingness to compromise may be what allows her to earn her husband's affection and build a lasting bond, suggesting that even the most independent people can find love.
