The atmosphere quickens as John Henson recounts the story of an Australian fire eater, leading into a challenge for the bakers: to craft pavlovas kissed by char and flambé. Soon after, a family member's unexpected return brings with them strange artifacts of an otherworldly origin. Inspired by these oddities, the bakers create elaborate Charlotte royale cakes, complete with unsettlingly realistic oozing fillings that manage to both fascinate and repulse judges Carla Hall, Stephanie Boswell, and Zac Young.
