Two notorious criminals have been apprehended overseas. German police escort them to Cologne aboard the Nordexpress, utilizing a specially prepared compartment. The gang, commanded by their leader Sievers, intends to abduct the pair. Associates of the gang have infiltrated the train crew, replacing the locomotive engineer and other personnel with accomplices to ensure a controlled stop of the Nordexpress at a predetermined point.
Customs investigator Kressin, returning from Denmark where he had been investigating pornography smuggling, is also on the train. He successfully foils the criminals' plan to kidnap the two men.
