The documentary’s final episode follows the performing arts department as they prepare for a farewell concert, a culmination of the school year at Willows High in Cardiff. Auditions for the production are underway, and Coral, a bright and spirited student, eagerly volunteers to sing. Yet, her attentiveness in class is flagging, her behaviour becoming increasingly disruptive, suggesting underlying difficulties that cast doubt on her readiness for a solo performance before a large audience. Elsewhere, those in the well-being and attendance office observe Sean, an eighth-year student with cerebral palsy, finding solace in the Lunch Club’s calm atmosphere – a welcome respite from the bustling canteen. Hoping to foster his self-assurance, they believe the school cabaret could offer a valuable opportunity for Sean to shine.
