KD rescues a young boy, Aman who was being humiliated in the hand of some bullies. He discovers that Aman’s father Samar Sheikh was tagged as a traitor, falsely accused of letting a dangerous criminal Bilawal to escape from his custody. Coincidentally, Samar's grandfather is to be honored this independence day for his contribution to the freedom struggle but he refuse to be a part of the felicitation ceremony as he awaits justice for his family. KD takes up the case in order to protect the honour of this family but the struggle seems to be extremely challenging as an arrogant veteran lawyer with a 40 years of experience, Katiyal stands as a prosecutor , head bent to beat KD at each step. The fact that only Samar had the key to the van door raises suspicion that probably he helped Bilawal to escape.
