Having recently experienced the departure of a valued member, Vox Machina finds themselves cast adrift in a city both strange and unfamiliar. Following Grog's brutal victory in a fighting pit, the group hastened to aid in the defense of the city against an attacking beast, an event that inadvertently set a series of unforeseen occurrences in motion.
