Disturbed by Güneş's reaction to Mehmet's proposal, Azil departs the house with Dursun, determined to unmask the betrayer who has infiltrated the Maçari family. But the individual he encounters at their meeting place presents him with a profound dilemma, compelling him to make a weighty choice. Dursun, bound by a vow to avenge his mother, is consumed by fury, plunging him onto a path from which there is no return. Attempting to shield Dursun, Azil finds himself confined within a jail cell—a refuge from which he is unexpectedly rescued by lawyer Güneş. Simultaneously, discussions within the council concerning Mehmet ignite Osman Maçari’s suspicions, prompting Mehmet to begin a careful construction of deception. Nermin, keenly aware of Güneş's reluctance toward marriage, persistently urges her onward.
