Among the discoveries are a sculpted elephant by Eduardo Paolozzi, originally commissioned to advertise floor coverings; a Victorian painting acquired for a mere five shillings while seeking shelter from the rain; the first commercially available toy robot, produced in the 1930s; a collection of handcrafted jewelry unearthed from an old envelope at the close of a jumble sale; and a fiberglass chair, which Paul Atterbury describes as "an antique for the future."
