Five food truck teams face a rigorous trial: a deep-sea fishing expedition designed to secure crucial seed money from Tyler Florence. The Alaskan climate tests them and their vehicles to their limits. One truck succumbs to mechanical failure, stranded by the roadside. Meanwhile, several teams misjudge the appetite of Homer, struggling to satisfy the overwhelming demand for their fare and maintain adequate kitchen supplies. A surprise guest judge arrives, sampling each team’s creations, and the winning dish – his personal favorite – will grant its creators a significant advantage: immunity from elimination.
