Replacing the proprietor of Café Yamabushi, Tsurubishi undertakes the quest for the perfect fried rice. He begins with a sense of purpose, determined to locate the most exquisite ingredients. That night, Niikura is overcome by hunger and devours whatever is available. Elsewhere, Kuratake, the barber notorious as “the baddest guy in CITY,” has been discreetly selling off gifts from his clientele. In CITY, a certain shadow is necessary to appreciate the light.
