Wild Strawberries (1957)

This Swedish film centers on Isak Borg, a retired doctor traveling from Stockholm to Lund for an honorary degree from his old university. He's joined by Marianne, his son's pregnant and unhappy wife, creating friction between them.Their road trip through the Swedish countryside brings them into contact with various hitchhikers, whose interactions prompt Isak to examine his past and his own flaws.
