In a kingdom plagued by excess and corruption, King Gros Pif lives for lavish feasts while his guards impose heavy taxes on the people. The court jester, secretly involved with the queen, manipulates the ministers into plotting the King's downfall. News reaches Chevalier Blanc, who quickly travels to help the captured monarch. The knight and king journey to Flanders, where they devise a plan to regain the French throne and restore order. They team up with Lucienne, a strong-willed woman, as they build alliances, face enemies, and navigate complex politics to fight for justice. The story explores power, loyalty, and how absolute authority can be destructive, questioning whether true leadership is possible without honor.
