Alex Greville, recently divorced and focused on her career, begins an unexpected romance with artist Bob Elkin. As their relationship deepens, it becomes clear that Bob is also involved with Daniel Hirsh, a doctor looking for the same spark Alex offers. Both Alex and Daniel find in Bob a break from their predictable lives, a chance to recapture a lost sense of excitement and vitality. Aware of Bob's involvement with both of them, neither woman wants to give up the youthful energy he brings to their otherwise comfortable routines. The film examines love, acceptance, and the pursuit of happiness within the challenges of contemporary relationships.
