During the French Revolution, the radical Citizen Robespierre carries out a brutal purge of the aristocracy. Hearing of the violence, two wealthy English nobles, Sir Rodney Ffing and Lord Darcy Pue, decide to help their French friends. Sir Rodney, skilled at disguise, assumes the identity of "The Black Fingernail" and infiltrates the French government. His goal is to weaken Camembert and Bidet, the leaders of France's secret police, in hopes of aiding those targeted by the revolution. This story of espionage during the French Revolution explores bravery, loyalty, and deception. Using disguises and taking risks, "The Black Fingernail" follows an exciting journey into the heart of power, where the dangers increase with each day.
