David, a driven college student short on money, takes a part-time job assisting Dr. Stoner, a scientist with an unusual fascination with snakes. As David learns about herpetology under Dr. Stoner's unusual tutelage, he develops feelings for Kristina, the doctor’s quiet and mysterious teenage daughter. Unbeknownst to him, Dr. Stoner is secretly developing a dangerous serum with harmful goals – one that could turn people into deadly King Cobras. David must deal with this risky situation while grappling with his own feelings and what's right as reality and experiment become increasingly mixed.
