French author Sidonie Perceval is grieving the loss of her husband. Invited to Japan for a re-release of her debut novel, she meets with her editor, who shows her around Kyoto, a city known for its temples and shrines. As they journey together amidst the spring blossoms, Sidonie gradually begins to confide in him. However, the memory of her husband lingers, and she must confront her past if she hopes to embrace love again.
