Following the destruction of the Shaolin Temple, Hu Te and other martial artists escape and establish a hidden way to communicate with and find other patriots ready to fight against the Qing dynasty for freedom to the south. They also search for the person who betrayed their temple. At the same time, Ma Fu Yi, a skilled Qing fighter, struggles with his role as he joins forces with the rebels to defeat them, only to be discovered and captured by Ma Chao-Tsing.Hu Te later finds Ma rescued from captivity by a group of Shaolin men disguised as bandits, but they lose their leader in the process. This new alliance strengthens the remaining Shaolin patriots, determined to uphold their traditions and protect their fellow fighters while uncovering the identity of the traitor within their group. Their dangerous journey shows the power of unity, strength, and second chances when facing hardship.
