This drama follows a Turkish family who risk everything for a better life in Switzerland. Inspired by stories of success abroad, Haydar sells their possessions, including land and animals, to fund their journey. Meryem reluctantly agrees, leaving their seven children with relatives. Haydar's father advises sending one son to Europe for education as a safety net. They travel from Istanbul to Switzerland, hiding on ships and spending their last money on false promises near Lake Como. Abandoned by guides in the Alps during a blizzard, the family faces separation. The film explores themes of ambition, sacrifice, and resilience as they struggle for a better future, questioning whether their dream of prosperity will be achieved or lost at Europe's borders.
