Tom Jeffers, a gifted inventor in New York City, has a loving wife, Gerry, who supports his work. Though he has brilliant ideas, Tom struggles with money to make them happen. Gerry, believing in her husband's potential, creates a plan to get the funding they need.She decides to file for divorce from Tom so she can marry wealthy Florida millionaire J. D. Hackensacker III. This decision comes from love and a desire for their future, but it sets off a chain of events filled with secrets and unforeseen results.
