In a quiet rural town, a mysterious cone-shaped alien structure appears in the woods, drawing both interest and worry. The U.S. government sends a team to investigate the strange object. As they investigate, they find that the object's parasites can secretly invade people's nervous systems, taking control of their minds and bodies.This control makes the infected people lose their free will and cut them off from communicating with others. With the town's leaders and workers becoming controlled by these alien invaders, a small group of seven people remain unaffected. The team must now join forces to stop the invasion from spreading, facing difficult challenges that test their ability to work together and find solutions in this story about alien possession and the strength of the human spirit.
