Davey Gordon, a seasoned but aging boxer in New York City, finds an unexpected connection with Gloria Price, a talented dancer. Their shared passion for the arts sparks a strong bond, but their growing romance is threatened by Gloria's troubled past. Vincent Rapallo, her controlling and violent boss, becomes fixated on Gloria, putting their relationship at risk. As Davey and Gloria plan to start a new life together away from the city, their escape is interrupted when Vincent kidnaps Gloria and vanishes.
