This heartwarming sequel centers on Willy, the gentle humpback whale, who faces a new danger: ruthless poachers targeting him for the profitable sushi trade. Sixteen-year-old Jesse, now working on an orca research vessel, reconnects with Randolph and meets Drew, a sharp scientist. Simultaneously, Captain John Wesley and his reluctant son Max are aboard the whaling ship, where Max struggles with the morality of their work but fears speaking out.
