This psychological drama centers on Martha Caldwell, a mute woman who lost her parents in a train crash as a teenager. Now living with her uncle Ralph in the Spanish countryside, Martha is caught in a new tragedy when her cousin Jenny is murdered by a serial killer targeting young women. As the community fears a killer is among them, Martha becomes a suspect because of her silence, making her seem vulnerable. But the truth is more complicated than it appears. The film explores trauma, strength, and relationships in a suspenseful story where appearances are misleading, and the truth eventually surfaces.
