In a playful take on a familiar story, skilled puppeteer Geppetto unexpectedly begins transforming into a puppet after drinking a strange potion given to him by his wooden boy, Pinocchio. The potion, bought from a mysterious carnival seller, has surprising effects, causing Geppetto's hands to become marionette limbs and his actions to be controlled by strings. As Geppetto fights to regain control of himself and reverse the potion's magic, Pinocchio goes on a touching adventure to learn about loyalty and love, all while trying to save his father from a magical destiny.
