Based on traditional Georgian folklore, this story follows a young boy who becomes key to saving his village from destruction. Their fortress is deteriorating, and the village elders decide on a risky solution: imprison the boy within its walls to reinforce the structure. As time passes, he confronts loneliness and the conflict between his responsibility to his people and his yearning for freedom. The film is a moving look at how people endure hardship, make sacrifices, and depend on each other during difficult times.
