Dexter learns he's legendary as "The One Who Saved The Future." When robots appear to eliminate him for past deeds, he uses his time machine and inventions to fight back. Curious about this title, Dexter journeys into the past to find out how he saved the future. He meets a younger version of himself working as a cubicle designer under the control of Mandark, who is now powerful. Dexter discovers his younger self unknowingly created vital plans for a powerful technology called the "Neurotomic Protocore," which Mandark intends to steal when they return to the present. This time-travel adventure reveals the truth behind Dexter's heroic past and the complicated connection between him and his rival, Mandark.
