Dris, a former convict, tries to maintain a normal life with his wife Lise and family, holding down a regular job. But his past catches up to him when his childhood friends from the Arab community – including his close friend Yanis – are involved in organized crime. Yanis attempts to lure Dris back into the gang, using a past lover, Nina, to tempt him with a taste of wealth and power. Though Dris resists, a specific event pulls him back into Yanis' world, leading to a devastating gang conflict that impacts the entire community.
