The End of Evangelion is a powerful and emotionally intense conclusion to the acclaimed anime series Neon Genesis Evangelion. Originally planned as a new ending to the show, this film explores the psychological and philosophical ideas at the heart of the series. A previous collection of clips, titled Death (Utena), was meant to be a revised finale, but it evolved into Rebirth, the complete reworked ending. Rebirth was divided into two parts, with The End of Evangelion as the first half.
