This film tells a series of interconnected stories, each exploring the repercussions of breaking one or more of the Ten Commandments. A young man uncovers a shocking family secret involving actress Clarisse Ardant, prompting an exploration of identity. Other characters face professional difficulties, such as Didier Marin, a cashier fired by his demanding boss. In a surreal moment, Jérome Chambard and a bishop encounter the Devil, portrayed as a serpent, illustrating the ongoing battle between good and evil.
