The film explores the dual nature of humanity through Dr. Henry Jekyll, a kind scientist who wants to understand the hidden darker side of people. He experiments to separate these aspects of personality. After years of research, Dr. Jekyll creates a potion that divides him into two people: the good Dr. Jekyll and the evil Edward Hyde. Though Dr. Jekyll's goal is good, he struggles with the results as Hyde enjoys violent acts. The story powerfully shows the conflict between good and evil within one person, questioning morality, identity, and responsibility. We see Dr. Jekyll's desperate fight to control the destructive force he unleashed, revealing how our inner darkness can have frightening results.
