Duel of the Seven Tigers (1979)

This martial arts film tells the story of Wu Kung, a talented fighter who, after losing to Shaolin monks, sets out to create his own temple and fighting style: Tang Sao Do Karate. Years later, Hsi Man Kwong, Wu Kung's devoted student and the ninth in the line of succession, challenges the established Chinese kung fu schools with the powerful techniques he's mastered, changing the martial arts world. The film is about perseverance, finding oneself, and striving for excellence despite any obstacles.
