Donald Duck's usual clumsiness leads to a series of funny problems at a modern inventions museum when he sneaks in without paying. He quickly finds himself in a comical chase with a robot butler who is determined to get his hat. Each time the butler tries to take it, Donald replaces it with a magical one. Exploring the museum, Donald accidentally gets wrapped up like a present in a wrapping machine and then deals with an overly helpful robot nursemaid and an automatic barber chair that gives him a surprise haircut. Throughout his adventures, Donald's good spirits help him overcome each inventive obstacle in the humorous museum.
