Tom Destry, son of a respected frontier peacemaker, clashes with his family history and the expectations of the residents of Bottleneck. He arrives in this rough territory unarmed and is met with scorn by the townspeople, who are controlled by the manipulative Kent. While trying to promote his beliefs in Bottleneck, Tom encounters many obstacles from those who view his pacifism as a weakness. Kent, a shrewd and dishonest man, sees Tom’s arrival as a chance to take advantage of the conflict between his followers and opponents. The film examines courage, honesty, and the fight for justice in a world where morality is often obscured by greed and lies. Tom Destry's quest to establish peace in Bottleneck forces him to confront both the town's violent side and his own insecurities as he tries to create a new way forward in a society dominated by guns.
