Martin Brady, fleeing a violent past in the U.S., works as an emissary for Mexican Governor Cipriano Castro, negotiating a vital arms deal in the Texas and Mexican borderlands. An injury delays his mission, jeopardizing the shipment. Amidst rising tensions, Brady faces romantic entanglements: a local army major's wife and a tempting offer from a Texas Ranger captain.
